Sabah-Malaysia My Second Home to lure Foreign Direct Investments, say builders

Kota Kinabalu: The imminent implementation of Sabah-Malaysia My Second Home (Sabah MM2H) programme will significantly increase Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) into Sabah, especially in real estate and tourism sectors.
Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) president Datuk Sr Chua Soon Ping said the Sabah MM2H would have a multiplier effect when the participants buy properties here.
It would stimulate the property market and economic spin-offs, would have a cascading effecta.

The two companies are poised to make a substantial impact on the State’s economy with a ripple effect on more than 120 industries, underscoring strong foreign interest from Taiwan, thus further solidifying Sabah’s appeal for international investments.
Both parties believe they can significantly contribute to Sabah’s real estate sector growth by maximising each other’s resources.

Kota Kinabalu, October 28 — CSX Holdings Sdn Bhd was honored with the World Outstanding Property Award at the World Palm Oil Conference (WPOC) 2024, recognizing its excellence in sustainable property development.
Held at Hilton Kota Kinabalu, the conference gathered global industry leaders under the theme “Future-Proof the Palm Oil Industry.” CSX was among several top awardees, alongside Sawit Kinabalu and Codon Genomics.
The event was co-organized by KSI Strategic Institute and the ASEAN Economic Club, with support from the Sabah State Government.
Sabah firm CSX buys 30 units of Sutera Bay suites

Kota Kinabalu: A local company, CSX Holdings Sdn Bhd, has purchased 30 units of commercial business suites of Sutera Bay @ Sadong Jaya for tourism-based purposes that target Taiwanese investors.Its Chief Executive Officer Anson Ng said they were attracted to buy the units due to its strategic location at the heart of Kota Kinabalu City centre.
CSX Holdings Sdn Bhd snaps up 26 Jesselton Residence Units

Kota Kinabalu : Jesselton Group has entered into into strategic collaboration with Taiwan-based CSX Holdings Sdn Bhd on the purchase of its units in Jesselton Residance.

The signing was done by Jesselton Group Founder Tan Sri David Chu and CSX Holdings Chairman Charles Tsao on Wednesday.
​
Both companies signed a sale and purchase agreement for CSX Holdings to bulk purchased 26 remaining units in Jesselton Residance waterfront condominium for RM51.9 million.
